Terms of Service
Effective October 12, 2026
The short version
- Designing is free. You pay only for prints we mail to you, in the 50 US states and DC.
- You approve a proof before you pay, and we print exactly what you approve. Typos and other mistakes in an approved design are yours.
- If a print arrives damaged or misprinted, tell us within 7 days and we'll reprint it or refund you, our choice.
- Late or lost deliveries are the carrier's doing, but we'll chase them for you.
- You can cancel until printing starts. After that, the order can't be cancelled.
- You must be 18 or older to order, and you're responsible for what you put in your designs.
Who we are
Prompt Printing is run by one of the many, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company at 3500 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901, United States ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Prompt Printing plugin in ChatGPT, the website at promptprinting.app, and every order you place with us. By using Prompt Printing or placing an order, you agree to them.
You use Prompt Printing inside ChatGPT, so OpenAI's own terms also apply to your use of ChatGPT. We aren't OpenAI and don't control ChatGPT.
What we sell
We sell printed, physical products: cards, invitations, certificates, framed certificates and similar items, printed and shipped by our print partner, Gelato. Designing, editing and downloading your design (including its print-ready PDF) are free. We don't sell digital files or subscriptions.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Anyone can design with Prompt Printing as far as OpenAI's terms for ChatGPT allow.
Where we ship
We ship only to addresses in the 50 US states and the District of Columbia. We can't ship to Puerto Rico, other US territories, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses or addresses outside the US. You can still design and download from anywhere.
Your designs and content
You keep whatever rights you have in the words, images and designs you make. You give us permission to store, display, process, render and print them, and to share them with our service providers, as needed to run Prompt Printing and fulfil your orders.
You are responsible for what you put in a design, including text and images that ChatGPT generated for you. You confirm that you have the rights to use everything in it, and that printing it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. We don't check every design and aren't responsible for the content our users create.
What you can't print
Don't use Prompt Printing to make anything that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- sexualizes minors, or is sexually explicit;
- threatens, harasses or promotes hate or violence against people or groups;
- is meant to deceive, such as a fake diploma, license, ID, official record or award presented as genuine.
Our print partner's content rules also apply to everything we print. We may run automated checks on a design when you approve its proof. We can refuse or cancel an order that breaks these rules, and we'll refund it if we do.
Proofs and your approval
Before you pay, you see a proof of your design, rendered by our print partner from the exact file that will be printed. You (or ChatGPT, at your express request) approve that proof. If the design changes after approval, the approval no longer counts and a new proof is needed.
We print exactly what you approve. Please check the spelling, names, dates, numbers and layout before you approve. We don't reprint or refund orders for typos or other errors in an approved design, whether you wrote the text or ChatGPT did.
Printed colors can look slightly different from your screen, and trimming can shift by a few millimeters. Keep important text and images inside the safe area shown on the canvas.
Prices, payment and tax
Prices are in US dollars. The product price includes printing, materials and our service. Shipping is added at cost, and sales tax is added where it applies; both are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment happens on promptprinting.app and is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Printing and delivery
Once you pay, your order goes to our print partner, who prints it and hands it to a carrier. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. You're responsible for giving us a correct, complete shipping address.
Once an order leaves our print partner, the carrier is responsible for getting it to you. We aren't responsible for carrier delays or for parcels the carrier loses, but if your order is late or doesn't arrive, email support@promptprinting.app and we'll take it up with our print partner and the carrier on your behalf.
If our print partner cancels your order, we'll look into why and then either refund you or send the order to print again.
Cancelling an order
You can cancel an order yourself from your orders page until it goes into production, and we'll refund it in full. Once production has started, the order can't be cancelled. Production often starts within hours of payment.
Defects, reprints and refunds
If your order arrives damaged, is misprinted (it doesn't match the proof you approved) or is the wrong item, email support@promptprinting.app within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos of the problem. We'll decide whether to reprint the order or refund you.
Apart from that, all sales are final. We don't give refunds for errors in an approved design, for a change of mind, for carrier delays or losses (see Printing and delivery), or for small color and trim variations described above.
Your orders page
You can see your orders, track them and download your files at promptprinting.app/orders, signing in with a link we email to the address you used at checkout. Keep access to that email account secure.
The service
We work to keep Prompt Printing running and accurate, but we provide the plugin and website "as is", without promises that they will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or stop parts of the service. We can suspend access for anyone who misuses it, for example by breaking the content rules or trying to disrupt the service.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed event because an order arrived late, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable US federal law.
